Emett Valender and Zigie Wightman will be hearing wedding bells.
The biggest The Block NZ winners in Kiwi history Sam Cable and Emmett Vallender are both getting married this year and this week Cable announced he and his fiancee Lydia Lawrence are soon to be parents.
The best friends and former Wellington flatmates took out The Block NZ in 2016, winning $480,000 for their renovated Meadowbank townhouse.
International travel followed and fast-forward five years and the lads have a busy year in front of them.
Cable announced he was engaged to Lydia Lawrence last February. A month later, the pair bought a house together in Auckland s New Lynn.

Fitness First has today launched a new brand platform, ‘Put Yourself First’ via Thinkerbell, to highlight the importance and benefits that come from finding the time to look after yourself and stay fit.
2020 was a physically and mentally exhausting year for everyone, with Australians struggling to find time to prioritise their own needs. Newly released research conducted by YouGov Galaxy has found that more than 60% of Australian’s believe they need to find more time for themselves to stay fit and healthy. Further, over half of all Australian’s agree that they need to find a way to sometimes put their own needs first, before others. This was especially true for parents of children under 12 with 83% of them saying they needed to look after themselves more.
