Additional Police security at Chamundi Hill every Friday March 3, 2021 Following decrease in COVID-19 positive cases, devotees visiting Chamundi Hill Temples is increasing and hence, additional Police personnel will be deployed for security atop Chamundi Hill, said DCP (Law and Order) Dr. A.N. Prakash Gowda. The DCP, who has issued circular to all Police Stations coming under KR Sub-Division, has stated in the circular that there were complaints that a large crowd of devotees was being witnessed at Chamundi Hill Temple on Fridays leading to heavy rush and has asked to deploy an Inspector, Sub-Inspector and 10 staff on security duty on rotation or shift basis.

Wadiyar Mysore/Mysuru: Just a day before the dawn of the new year, a gate has sprung up overnight at Lalitha Mahal Helipad area much to the surprise of morning walkers. The iron gate has been installed right at the entrance of the road leading to the helipad. While the MCC did not have clarity as to who installed the gate, a nameboard beside the helipad reads “This land is the private property of P.D.
