Stamp of approval: Olympic driving force Seb Coe gave his endorsement to Ealing s legacy event THE London 2012 legacy is at risk from COVID-19, according to Ealing Half Marathon’s founder, Kelvin Walker. “Our event is one of the largest legacy events and we’re at risk from the impacts of COVID unless more entries are received very soon,” he said. “We are asking for help to keep [it] running. The borough planning committee met virtually to approve the scheme by eight votes to four after the last meeting, on March 10, was blighted by technical issues. Under the scheme, Perceval House would be replaced with blocks of flats, including a 26-storey tower.
