Two new restaurants proposed in Rockport

At this meeting, the Board will be using a videoconference format. Public comments or questions should be sent to the Town Manager at wpost@rockportmaine.gov or can be provided remotely through the livestream of the meeting. According to documents filed at the Town Office, Jessica Crane, on behalf of the Taboo Restaurant Group, is seeking a liquor license for a restaurant named Taboo Taqueria. The restaurant would be located at 5 Country Inn Way, from the building which previously housed the Blue Sky Cantina.  In Crane’s application, she said that food will be “served at tables within, a small patio and indoor bar.” The building would be leased to Taboo Taqueria by property owner Matthew Barter.
