The fire happened at a residence in the 12600 block of La Noche.
According to fire officials, the woman was alerted of the fire after smelling smoke. She then dialed 911.
The woman was not injured during the fire, but her great dane, labrador retriever and cat were killed in the incident.
Fire officials said the home suffered significant damage as well. The woman is receiving assistance from the American Red Cross.

Bianca Juarez and her mother Elia were sitting in their apartment at the Villa Rodriguez Apartments when they heard banging on their front door and a man yelling Get out! Fire, fire!
Bianca said she was shaking as she quickly grabbed their dog and ran out of the building as the fire burned on the floor above them.
San Antonio firefighters were called to the apartments, located at 3270 Nacogdoches Road on the North Side, just after 10 a.m. for a fire that started on the third floor.

The fire happened in the 1500 block of Estancia, near Roosevelt and Loop 410.
The San Antonio Fire Department said that a wheelchair-bound man was rescued from inside the building after they got a call from a concerned neighbor.
The man was taken to an area hospital for treatment after inhaling smoke during the incident.
No one else was injured during the fire, the department said.
Teh cause of the fire is still under investigation.

SAN ANTONIO – A family of four is displaced and their dog was found deceased inside their home after it went up in flames overnight, according to the San Antonio Fire Department.
More than a dozen fire units were called to the scene around 4 a.m., Sunday, in the 5900 block of Bowsprit Street.
Firefighters said the fire began in the living room and then quickly spread throughout the home.
“We had to fight fire from the outside,” fire battalion chief Brad May said. “We did have a problem… (on) the right side of the house, but we were able to contain that and keep that at bay.”
