SANTA PAULA, CA – Light has long been an object of fascination for award-winning Ventura County artist Anette Power. In “Silver Linings: Journey of Light,” Power’s current solo exhibition of 37 oil paintings presented by the Santa Paula Art Museum, the artist explores not only light that can be seen and painted, but also the subject matters that bring light and joy to her heart. Anette’s exhibit is over two years in the making and is a love letter to living even in the midst of great change and challenges–something we can all relate to currently. Power hopes her art will inspire others to focus on the bright spots in their own lives. “Silver Linings” is available to enjoy online at https://virtualexhibit.squarespace.com/silverlinings. All of the artworks in the exhibit are available for purchase. “Silver Linings” will also be on view at the Santa Paula Art Museum when local museums are able to reopen to the public.
