Child Airlifted From Central Park After Medical Emergency
A child was airlifted from Santa Clarita Central Park Thursday morning after a medical emergency, officials said.
The incident was first reported at about 11 a.m. Thursday on Caraway Lane in Saugus for a medical emergency with advanced life support, according to Marvin Lim with the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
“The call came in a sick person,” Lim said, noting the patient had a fever and the exact type of sickness was unknown.
Copter 19 from L.A. County Fire Air Operations was requested with a landing zone at Central Park, according to Lim.
