Valencia Pursuit Of Burglary Suspects Ends In Injury Crash A Valencia pursuit involving burglary suspects ended Thursday afternoon in a crash, sending at least one person to the hospital. Around 2:10 p.m. Thursday, deputies located a vehicle matching the description of a wanted burglary suspect near McBean Parkway and Grandview Drive in Valencia, said Natalie Arriaga, spokesperson for the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station. When the deputy attempted to make a traffic stop on the vehicle, it fled and a pursuit was initiated, according to Sheriff’s officials. The pursuit reached speeds of 45 mph and ended in a crash on McBean Parkway near Newhall Ranch Road, Arriaga said.

Reported Stolen Vehicle Passed Through Santa Clarita During 5 Freeway Pursuit A reported stolen vehicle suspect led California Highway Patrol officers on an I-5 Freeway pursuit through Santa Clarita Thursday. Around 3:45 p.m. Thursday, California Highway Patrol officers received reports of a stolen vehicle on the 5Freeway near Highway 126 in Valencia, said Officer Stepan Brandt, with the CHP Traffic Management Center. “We are in pursuit of a stolen vehicle,” Brandt said.
