The local hospice at home charity is taking action to support the climate with the installation of solar panels at its main head office in Winch Lane, Haverfordwest. The charity was one of 35 community groups selected to take part in the Climate Action Boost scheme, funded by The National Lottery Community Fund. The investment is part of an ongoing commitment to address the climate emergency and the charity joins many others who are taking action.

Being disability confident means that the organisation can be benefitted, by being able to see the pool of talent among disabled people, with the necessary skills required. Disability Confident Committed helps increasing the understanding of disability and how to make the most of the opportunities provided by employing disabled people. Having been awarded the certificate, Paul Sartori Hospice at Home believe barriers have been removed that might have prevented disabled people accessing employment. The hospice hope to play their part in ensuring that disabled people have opportunities to fulfil their potential and realise their aspirations

Picture: Gareth Davies Photography A COUPLE who were determined to stage their traditional Christmas lighting spectacular for charity, despite the coronavirus pandemic, have been rewarded by raising over £1,100. The sum takes the total that Vic and Sheila Norman have generated over the years for the Pembrokeshire s only hospice at home charity, Paul Sartori. to more than £12,000. Vic and Sheila s dazzling festive illuminations at their bungalow in Kingsmoor Close, Kilgetty have been delighting seasonal spectators for 13 years.
