New Delhi [India], April 30 (ANI): Bollywood actor Bhumi Pednekar on Friday expressed her condolences for Chandro Tomar, fondly known as Shooter Dadi , who passed away on Friday after battling COVID-19 for the past few days.
Bhumi, who played Chandro s character on screen in Anurag Kashyap produced biopic Saand Ki Aankh , based on her and Prakashi Tomar s life, said It is completely devastating to know that chandro dadi is not with us anymore. It really feels like a very big personal loss. She was someone who lived a very full filling life.

Chandro Tomar, popularly known as ‘Shotter Dadi’ who hailed from Uttar Pradesh and was the world’s oldest female sharp shooter died at 89 today. Bhumi Pednekar who played the national level sharp shooter on the big screen in Tushar Hiranandani’s Saand Ki Aankh, condoled her death and called it a ‘very big personal loss.’
“It is completely devastating to know that Chandro Dadi is not with us anymore. It really feels like a very big personal loss. She was someone who lived a very full filling life. She made her own rules, paved her own path and she had a beautiful sisterhood and a beautiful partnership with Prakashi dadi and together they left an impact on so many lives,” Bhumi said mourning the loss of Chandro Tomar.

Ace sharp shooter Chandro Tomar passed away today after battling Covid-19 infection for days. She was hospitalised in Meerut due to breathing issues after testing positive for coronavirus. Soon after, Bhumi Pednekar who played the role of the late shooter in their biopic Saand Ki Aankh tweeted lamenting the unfortunate demise.
