Dobaaraa, which is said to be a new age thriller, will be produced by Ekta Kapoor s Cult Movies, which is making its debut as a new division under her Balaji Telefilms label with the new project. Taapsee Pannu made the big announcement on Friday evening, sharing the first glimpse of the movie and wrote: Let s do this. again!

Taapsee Pannu are reuniting for a new age thriller titled Dobaaraa .
Anurag took to Twitter to share an announcement teaser of the upcoming film. He wrote, See what happens when you travel time across the dimensions of the universe. Filming begins soon! #Dobaaraa.
In the teaser announcement video, Taapsee and Anurag can be seen interacting virtually with each other. The intriguing teaser, which doesn t give away much about the film s plot, shows Taapsee is seen entering her apartment. She settles down and then looks at some of the film scripts lying around and later asks Alexa to switch on the television. After listening to the news, she asks Alexa to play a film that is edgy and has a vibe.

The project rolled out recently by Tushar Hiranandani, who donned the hat of a film director with Taapsee Pannu and Bhumi Pednekar-starrer film Saand Ki Aankh (2019), will be a biopic on an entrepreneur. And for the film, he has once again teamed up with prolific director-writer Jagdeep Sindhu, famous for giving Punjabi films such as Qismat, Sufna, etc.
It was Sidhu who wrote dialogues for big-budget Bollywood film, Saand Ki Aankh, the sports drama based on the life of octogenarian ladies, Chandro and her sister-in-law Prakashi Tomar, better known as Revolver Dadis of Johri village in Uttar Pradesh. They began sharpshooting in their 50s.

The International Film Festival of India (IFFI) honored the creme de la creme of World Cinema during the closing ceremony of the first-ever hybrid version of the festival that took place at Panaji on Sunday, Jan. 24, 2021.
The epic World War II film ‘Into the Darkness (De forbandede ar)’ which portrays the story of a Danish electronics factory owner who is forced to produce for the occupying Nazi forces, won the coveted Golden Peacock Award at the just-concluded 51st edition of the International Film Festival of India.
The golden Peacock Award consists of a cash prize of Rs 40 lakhs or approximately $54,800 (according to the exchange rate Jan. 24) which is shared equally between Director Anders Refn and Producer Lene Borglum. The director and producer of the were also been presented with a certificate.
