The number of women to come forward with misconduct allegations against Sanger Police officer and Corcoran resident J.D. Torrence has reached 12, with more women expected to testify soon, according to the Fresno County Sheriff s Office.
According to Lt. Brandon Pursell, there are seven complaints against Torrence that constitute criminal allegations and another five for police misconduct. However, Pursell said those numbers will likely go up as more people have already reached out with additional testimonies.
The initial complaint against Torrence was submitted to the Sanger Police Department â Police Chief Greg Garner then turned the investigation over to the FCSO to serve as an unbiased entity. Torrence was arrested last Wednesday on charges of sexual battery and unlawfully detaining a person.

“We understand the export dollars, the royalties, the jobs that the resources sector produces, and we think it’s got a really bright future here in Central Queensland,” he said, but promised a “real crackdown on the kind of cowboy labour hire firms that unfortunately we’ve seen proliferate throughout Central Queensland over the last few years”.
Nathan Daniel Larson, 40, of Catlett, faces felony charges in Fresno County, California, for kidnapping, child abduction, soliciting child pornography from a minor and meeting a child for the intention of sex. He also is charged with a misdemeanor for harboring a minor in Denver, where he was arrested.Â
Larson is currently in the Denver County Jail. He is scheduled to have a court hearing in Denver on Dec. 24, when an extradition request will be made to transport him to the Fresno County Jail.Â
A press release from the Fresno County Sheriffâs Office said that on the morning of Monday, Dec. 14, the Fresno County Sheriffâs Office and Fresno Police Department received a report of a missing 12-year-old Fresno girl. Early in the investigation, detectives received information that the girl may have been coerced into running away with an older man whom she had met through social media in mid-October.Â

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) A 56-year-old Fresno man was arrested for molesting children near Easton, and detectives believe there may be more victims.
The Fresno County Sheriff s Office said Erasto Vasquez was arrested in September for the sex crimes that occurred in the 1990s.
He was charged with lewd and lascivious acts with children under 14, and booked into the Fresno County Jail.
Investigators are now searching for other victims who could ve been sexually assaulted by Vasquez.
