Some video and images began circulating around the internet, showing some alleged stolen goats from the Saginaw Children s Zoo. It should be noted and known though, that all ten goats missing and action, aren t actually missing.=
A rumor started making its round, gaining attention from law enforcement agencies, as well as the zoo itself.
“People have been calling the zoo over the weekend, concerned after they saw all this on social media,” Executive director at the Saginaw Children’s Zoo, Nancy Parker, said. “We have people in the zoo who are very protective, and they’re disturbed by it.”

Saginaw police hosting ‘front porch roll call’ to strengthen community bonds

SAGINAW, MI The Saginaw Police Department is hosting the first in a series of summer “front porch roll call” this evening.
The roll call is taking place at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, May 19, at Beacon of Hope Church, 2109 W. Michigan Ave.
Citizens who attend are encouraged to meet and interact with the police officers who patrol their neighborhoods. Residents can ask questions, share perspectives, and voice concerns.
“It’s another tool we’re using to engage the community so we can get input and the community can understand what we’re doing as police officers,” said Saginaw Police Chief Robert M. Ruth. “It’s a good community-engagement tool.”
