Search for Saginaw Township homicide suspect continues, police release victim’s name

SAGINAW TWP, MI Police have released the name of a Saginaw Township woman found dead in her apartment, while their search for her husband and alleged killer continues.
Officers have identified La’Resha C. Isom-Pittman, 29, as the woman found deceased in her unit at Camelot Place Apartments about 12:26 p.m. on Tuesday, May 18. Police had responded to Isom-Pittman’s residence after a relative found her deceased and called 911.
Saginaw Township Police Chief Donald F. Pussehl Jr. described Isom-Pittman’s manner of death as a homicide but has not elaborated on the method.

SAGINAW TWP, MI Police have released the name and description of a man suspected of committing a homicide in Saginaw Township.
Investigators have identified Aaron C. Pittman, 33, as a suspect in the homicide of a 29-year-old woman that was reported on Tuesday, May 18. Pittman is described as a Black male standing 6 feet tall, weighing 215 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. He was last seen wearing a red T-shirt, blue jeans, and a blue head wrap.
Police said Pittman should be considered “armed and dangerous.”
Anyone with knowledge of his whereabouts is urged to call the Saginaw Township Police Department at 989-793-2310 or 911.

SAGINAW TWP., MI - A 20-year-old Saginaw man died Monday afternoon from injuries sustained that morning after crashing his mini bike-type vehicle, according to Saginaw Township Police.
The man hit the side of a turning pickup truck early Monday morning at the intersection of Gratiot and St. Andrews roads in Saginaw Township. The bike did not have a headlight and the truck driver didn’t see the bike rider approaching, according to a news release from the Saginaw Township Police Department. The man had numerous fractures and was taken to a nearby hospital in serious condition.
