Uhuru Kenyatta Tells Kenyan Youth, “Take Charge Of Your Future”
President Uhuru Kenyatta urged the youth to take charge of their future as he rallied them to support the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI).
Saying the country’s young people have the potential to propel the country to the next level of progress, the President cautioned them against falling prey to politicians dishing out handouts and spreading falsehoods against BBI.
“Come on, be awake and take control of your future because if you don’t, the people who will suffer the most is you and you will not have anyone to blame but yourself.

President Uhuru Kenyatta has said the success of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) will assist the continent overcome some of its pressing economic challenges.
The President reaffirmed Kenya s commitment to AfCFTA and rallied other African states to work closely with the agency s Secretariat to ensure that continental trade arrangement succeeds.
The Head of State spoke Wednesday at Sagana State Lodge in Nyeri County at a meeting with AfCFTA s Secretary General Wamkele Mene who paid him a courtesy call.

President Uhuru Kenyatta has shared a glimpse of his Sagana State Lodge, where he has been camping since Friday.
Photos shared by State House on Wednesday, February 3, showed stark differences between the presidential getaway and State House, Nairobi.
The Sagana State Lodge, located deep in the heart of Central Kenya region, a few kilometres from the Mt Kenya forest boundary, matches its environment.

While State House stands tall in bright white high concrete walls symbolising the seat of power, the State Lodge is mostly made of natural, rough, aged timber coated with a dark brown colour on the outside.
