Charges Laid in Connection to Joint Investigation into Illegal Manufacturing of Firearms in Sask

The searches also turned up 50 cartons of illegal cigarettes and $4,500 in cash. 38 year old Greg Meyer of Fillmore, and 19 year old Gauge Meyer and 36 year old Tamara Eiler, both of Regina, made their first court appearances last Friday.

Officers also searched on Fines Drive, the 2100 Block of Rae Street, the 1100 Block of Elliot Street, the 1500 Block of Bond Street, the 1100 Block of Rose Street and the 1600 Block of St. John Street, all in Regina.

Three arrested in weapons manufacturing investigation

On Thursday, December 17 th officers searched ten properties and five vehicles related to a firearms manufacturing investigation. Several properties were searched in Fillmore, Lebret, Saskatchewan Beach, Lajord, Fines Drive in Regina, the 2100 block of Rae Street, 1100 block of Elliot Street, 1500 block of Bond Street, 1100 block of Rose Street, and the 1600 block of St. John Street. The searches turned up equipment used to manufacture firearms, various firearm components, a complete manufactured firearm with full automatic capabilities, ammo, and various electronic devices. Approximately 50 cartons of illegal cigarettes and $4,500 in cash was also seized during the operation.
