Duke returns to Wanderland after three-week battle with parent club It was a genuine conversation. I assumed they were going to take my word seriously and give me a chance as a striker, but instead they turned it against me.
12 games into his stint at Saudi Professional League side Al-Taawoun, Duke knew he was in need of a change of scenery.

Adelaide United is delighted to announce it has signed Craig Goodwin on loan from Saudi Professional League club, Al-Wehda, until the end of the A-League 2020/21 season.
Goodwin previously spent three seasons with the Reds across two separate stints and scored a total of 25 goals in 92 appearances in all competitions.
Capped five times by the Socceroos, the 29-year-old’s honours with the Club include an A-League Championship and Premiership in 2016 as well as the 2018 FFA Cup.
The winger was also named Aurelio Vidmar Club Champion in 2016 following a brilliant 2015/16 campaign and received the 2018 Mark Viduka Medal after scoring a sensational brace in the 2-1 final win over Sydney FC.
The centre-forward bagged five goals to earn a contract extension with the Premier League giants last year.
The forward has now left the Old Trafford outfit after his deal with the side ended and then signed for Saudi Professional League club Al Shabab on a two-and-a-half-year contract in February.
Rohr arrived in Nigeria at the weekend in preparation for the Super Eagles’ 2022 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers in March.
The German tactician has explained the forward will be given an opportunity to come back to the national team, notwithstanding his move to Saudi Arabia, if he impresses with his new club and chooses to return.

“We’re pleased to welcome Fábio,” head of sport Kevin Thelwell told the club’s official website. “Fábio has a strong physical profile, excellent work ethic, and he’s shown that he can score and assist while playing on his own, and with another forward. We’re happy to add Fábio to our roster and look forward to integrating him into our team.”
Netto spent his youth career with Nacional and Grêmio Osasco before beginning his professional career with Grêmio Audax. In December of 2017, he joined Oeste Futebol Clube, spending 2018 on loan with local outfit Clube Atlético Carlos Renaux. During the 2019 Campeonato Brasileiro Série B season, the São Paulo native finished second in the league’s scoring charts with 15 goals in 32 matches.
