Ultimate after all. Pyra and Mythra are now officially available to download and use as the latest DLC fighters in Smash Ultimate alongside the Version 11.0.0 update and new Mii Figther costumes. Similarly to Zelda and Sheik s old design, the duo can freely swap between each other while in battle to take advantage of the strengths of their separate movelists.

Monster Hunter Mii Fighters coming to Super Smash Bros Ultimate

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. But Geno has always been something of a long shot for inclusion in the core Smash Bros. roster. Monster Hunter? That’s certainly more popular today. Sakurai said the addition of new Mii Fighter costumes based on Monster Hunter which consists of the Rathalos Armor and Helm, and the Hunter Armor and Helm for the Swordfighter class, as well as a Felyne hat are timed with the imminent release of Monster Hunter Rise. Capcom will bring that game to Nintendo Switch on March 26. But with just two more characters coming to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate in the game’s Fighters Pass Vol. 2, fans aren’t hopeful that they’ll get a stand-alone Monster Hunter fighter on the game’s roster.

Ultimate today Drifting souls bring the heat with Challenger Pack 9 Xenoblade Chronicles 2‘s Pyra/Mythra, Fighters #79 and #80, are set to join Super Smash Bros. Ultimate with the release date of… today! This morning’s highly anticipated livestream gave us our first full look at the girls in action. Femme fatales The Aegis sisters together make up a two-in-one stance change character, the likes of which we hadn’t seen since Zelda and Sheik back in Melee and Brawl. Save for their specials, Pyra and Mythra appear to share the same overall neutral moves. However, whichever fighter you have on the field will change up your play style accordingly. Pyra exhausts her weapon’s excess power with flames strengthening each devastating swing of her sword, while Mythra’s knacks for evasion and accuracy ensures swift strikes and easy combos early on.

Super Smash Bros Ultimate DLC fighters Pyra and Mythra get a surprise release

Super Smash Bros Ultimate DLC fighters Pyra and Mythra get a surprise release Eric Abent - Mar 4, 2021, 12:35pm CST As promised, today Super Smash Bros Ultimate director Masahiro Sakurai sat down to give us a deep dive detailing the game’s newest DLC fighters, Pyra and Mythra from Xenoblade Chronicles 2. Not only did Sakurai detail Pyra and Mythra’s moveset, but he also told us when the duo would be releasing. Previously, all we knew is that the characters would be arriving sometime in March. As it turns out, release is a lot closer than most us probably expected, as Pyra and Mythra are landing today. Like most players assumed, Pyra and Mythra are technically one fighter, with players being able to transition between the two in battle. Pyra is described as the character to use when you’re looking for power, while Mythra focuses more on speed.
