The National Assembly and the Senate are currently debating two coffee Bills, which are eventually expected to help in governing the sector. The two draft laws seek to reintroduce key agencies such as the Coffee Board of Kenya (CBK) and the Coffee Research Institute (CRI) to enhance the general governance of the crop.
