The blast that took place at Sahebmarra around midnight damaged a major portion of a primary school, close to the interstate border, though no casualty has been reported so far, Hailakandi Superintendent of Police Gaurav Upadhyaya said.
The Assam Chief Minister also said that there is a need for a span of peace after the clashes along the Assam-Mizoram border. "Some time will be required to heal, then we have to take up confidence building measures. Both sides are talking and we continue to do so.”
