A Gaithersburg woman charged with robbing two banks and trying to rob another has been federally indicted.
Carisa Cline, 44, is accused of robbing banks in Gaithersburg on Jan. 29 and Feb. 8, according to a press release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office on Wednesday.
The BB&T bank at 467 Frederick Ave. Police said Cline passed the teller a note demanding cash and implying that she was armed. After getting cash, she fled.
The Wells Fargo Bank at 12161 Darnestown Road. Police said Cline went up to the teller, implied that she was armed and took money before fleeing in a Chevrolet Malibu.
