Margaretha Miller Vinograd | News, Sports, Jobs - Adirondack Daily Enterprise

Margaretha Miller Vinograd passed away on April 2, 2021, surrounded by her family. Meg (her preferred nickname) was born to Gilmore Law and Mathilda Margaretha Miller in Brooklyn on Aug. 16, 1950. She married the love of her life, Jon Franklin Vinograd, in 1975. Together they had three children, whom they raised in Saranac Lake. Always an extrovert, she loved her job as a speech therapist. She ran a private practice while also working with clients in schools, hospitals, Sunmount and nursing homes, and teaching at SUNY Plattsburgh. Meg cherished her family and friends. Guests were always welcome into her home, be it for the afternoon, for dinner, or in the case of the many exchange students she hosted for months on end until they, too, became part of the Vinograd family. She took great delight in small-town life and deeply appreciated the beauty of the Adirondacks.
