Investigators searching for person of interest in 7-Eleven robbery

Investigators in Lee County want the public’s help to name a male person of interest in connection to a robbery that happened at a 7-Eleven in south Fort Myers Tuesday.
According to the Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers Facebook post, the robbery took place at the 7-Eleven located at Summerlin Road and Gladiolus Drive.
Investigator say the male was wearing a red, flat-brimmed hat and an unknown colored Under Armour-brand shirt.
The person of interested got away on foot and possibly traveled north along Winkler Road.
One person was injured in a shooting at a Fort Myers apartment complex Thursday afternoon, according to the Fort Myers Police Department.
Several shots were fired at Horizon s Apartments, off Summerlin Road, around 5 p.m., said Kristin Capuzzi, a public information officer with the police department.
