COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– The Sumter County Coroner’s Office has identified another victim of a fatal collision on Saturday. Authorities say 30-year-old Dustin Porter died from his injuries on Wednesday, after the wreck on U.S. Highway 378 East.
According to investigators, around 5 a.m. Porter was the passenger in a Dodge Challenger when the driver, 34-year-old Brian Hough II ,left the road and hit multiple trees before crashing in a ditch. Highway Patrol says Hough died on scene. Both victims were wearing their seat belts.

SUMTER CO., S.C. (WOLO) – The Sumter County Coroner’s Office has identified the motorcyclist killed in a vehicle collision on Sunday.
Coroner Robert Baker says Allen Moffitt, 74, died at Prisma Health Richland hospital after the collision on U.S. Highway 15 near Lewis Road around 10:50 a.m.
According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, Moffitt was driving a 1986 Harley-Davidson motorcycle, when he made an unlawful lane change and hit a 2011 Infiniti.
Authorities say Moffitt, who wasn’t wearing a helmet, died, while the Infiniti driver was not injured.
This incident remains under investigation.

SUMTER, S.C. (WIS) - A Sumter County man has died after a single-vehicle crash, officials say.
According to the Sumter County Coroner’s Office, Carl Barkley, 77, of Sumter died on Monday, May 10.
Officials say Barkley swerved to miss a deer on May 3 when he ran off the road and hit a tree. The accident occurred on Camp Mac Boykin Road in the Rimini portion of Sumter County.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol and The Sumter County Coroner’s Office are investigating.
