States that micro-blogging site failed to appoint Resident Grievance Officer
A day after Twitter raised concerns over the new IT rules, public interest litigation has been filed against the micro-blogging site for non-compliance with the guidelines that came into effect on May 26.

Twitter says it notified the account owners of the censored tweets to make them aware that the action was taken in response to a legal request from the government of India.
