Biden had already announced his major budget initiatives, but during a rollout Friday he will release them as a single proposal to incorporate them into the government’s existing budget framework, including Social Security and Medicare. LGBTQ+ Pride event in Summit NJ to feature drag queen performance

View Comments SUMMIT – The city s annual LGBTQ+ Pride month event, Summit Has Pride, will be held at 6 p.m. June 5 on the Village Green. The event, organized by the Summit Department of Community Programs, will begin with Audio Riot performing pop and Pride Month music. Drag queen Zenon TeaVee will present a family friendly drag performance at 7:30 p.m. At dusk there will be a showing of the film adaptation of the Broadway musical, Rent. The event all will also include displays from organizations serving the LGBTQ+ community as well as special art activities and a temporary tattoo booth. The event is free and open to the community.
