The Old Cowtown Museum is launching a monthly Community Fair Day. The event will begin on Sunday, April 18th, from 12pm to 5pm.
The event will take place the third Sunday of each month from its first day through October.
The Community Fair Day will feature local artists and more than 50 local vendors in an outdoor market, selling arts, crafts, and other merchandise. Visitors can also explore Cowtown, watch gunfight shows and more.
Sunday admission is free to the public. Old Cowtown Museum is located at 1865 W. Museum Blvd in Wichita.

Amherst Farmers’ Market opens Saturday on Town Common

AMHERST Amherst’s Town Common will have vendors selling locally grown produce, cheese, cut flowers, herbs and prepared foods beginning Saturday.
Commencing its 50th season, the Amherst Farmers’ Market will run Saturdays from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. through Nov. 20.
Market manager David Machowski said the market will be held every week, rain or shine, and though it is more work to set up on the common, the market has a more agrarian feel by doing so.
