Community organizations, athletes, and performers can now apply to receive funds from the municipality.
The RMWB is providing grants through the Community Investment Program – the Community Impact Grant and Games Legacy Grant.
Groups and organizations can get up to $80,000 for their programs, a maximum of $50,000 for new events, and as much as $20,000 for community events.
Individual athletes and performers can receive up to $1,500 to help with training and competing, while groups can receive up to $3,000.
The deadline to apply is September 7 at 4:30.
Interested individuals can also get one-on-one support for their application by contacting PULSE.
