Jose Rodriguez is the president and CEO of El Concilio, a nonprofit community-based organization offering a variety of services to the Hispanic population of the Central Valley.
He has worked in his role for more than 25 years and continues to do so. As a son of migrant farmworking parents, through El Concilio he tries to help families have access to the resources they need to support themselves and their children.
El Concilio has been part of the Central Valley and San Joaquin County community for 52 years. “We believe in taking care of the entire family,” Rodriguez said. The organization provides information to parents about vaccine access, mental health, rent support, legal assistance and other services the Hispanic community may need.
