CHRIS HANI DISTRICT – After working tirelessly last night on operations in different localities of Ngcobo, Dalasile and Cofimvaba, the foot soldiers paraded this morning at Ngcobo SAPS in preparation of Awareness Campaigns and Community Engagements to curb the scourge of both Gender Based Violence (GBV) and common crimes that are prevalent in those areas.
The parade commenced with the reading of Code of Conduct and an operational briefing by Brigadier Mjali and the Operational Commander Col Ngalo.
Brigadier Mjali thanked the members for a job well done during lastnight operations and acquired successes.
The members will now proceed to Quthubeni and Mthintloni Villages for Door to Door campaings and to Vehicle Check Points inside the Ngcobo CBD.

SRINAGAR: The 24-member delegation of foreign envoys was briefed by the Jammu and Kashmir Police in Srinagar about the various progammes including community engagements, counter-radicalisation being undertaken by them and also the Indian Army’s role in convincing militants to surrender and countering Pakistan’s nefarious infiltration activities while conducting peaceful DDC elections in the Union Territory.
