Hammond School lease limbo hampers plans for after-school programs

Obaseki, Okowa, Oba Eware, Shaibu, others bag Edo Cultural Heritage Heroes Award

BENIN CITY – Following their immense contributions to the development and growth of humanity as well as propagating the cultural heritage of the people, the Governors of Edo and Delta States, Benin Monarch, Edo Deputy Governor of Edo state, Mr Godwin Obaseki, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, HRM Oba Eware II, Rt. Hon Philip Shaibu, Chief Dan Orbih and others on Sunday bagged the prestigious 2021 Edo cultural Heritage Heroes Award amid pomp and ceremony. The Award which was Organised by Fecha Project Foundation in Benin City, the Edo State Capital attracted Creme de la creme in the society. While Governor Obaseki was awarded Excellent on Scientific Electoral process system and Technophine Governance in Edo, Governor Okowa, Oba Eware II, Comrade Philip Shaibu and Chief Orbih bagged Best Influencer of Edo State politics of the year Award, Excellent on Traditional leadership Affairs Award; Youths Mentorship of the year Award and Humanitarian Service to Edo People of the year Award.

The groups cleared out remnants of some supports from the garden. Chadwick said the “wind took its toll on it over time and just destroyed it.”
