The Community Foundation of Dickinson County presented a $52,438 grant to Home, Health & Hospice of Dickinson County. Presenting the check was Elizabeth Weese, executive director of the Community Foundation to Carol Whitehair, director of Home, Health & Hospice of Dickinson County.
This grant was made possible by a designated endowed fund held at the Foundation created from an estate gift from Orban and Shirley Haas.
“It is wonderful to know that this amazing organization will be receiving monies into perpetuity because of the generosity and forethought of the Haas’,” said Weese in a release. “Establishing endowed funds with the foundation guarantees longevity in giving and support.”
