A woman stabbed by convicted terrorist Usman Khan said he was “expressionless” when she came face to face with the armed assailant in the midst of his bloody spree.
Stephanie Szczotko suffered wounds to her arms and torso during the attack at Fishmongers’ Hall in central London on November 29 2019, when 28-year-old Khan armed himself with knives and a fake suicide belt and unleashed horror on unsuspecting delegates at a prisoner rehabilitation event.
Khan, from Stafford in the West Midlands, fatally stabbed Cambridge graduates Jack Merritt, 25, and Saskia Jones, 23, who were attending the event, before being tackled by members of the public with a decorative pike, narwhal tusk and fire extinguisher. He was then shot dead by police on London Bridge.

An electrician has described the moment he set eyes on the knife-wielding and blood drenched London Bridge attacker Usman Khan.
The inquests into the deaths of Cambridge University graduates Saskia Jones, 23, and Jack Merritt, 25, who were killed by convicted terrorist Khan at a prisoner rehabilitation event at Fishmongers Hall near London Bridge on November 29 2019, resumed today.
Khan, 28, was armed with two knives and wore a fake suicide vest as he stabbed Ms Jones and Mr Merritt to death and injured three others at a prisoner rehabilitation event near London Bridge on November 29, 2019.
Simon Bird, a maintenance electrician working at Fishmongers Hall on the day of the atrocity, said he heard Khan shouting for the front doors to be opened to escape onto London Bridge.

A kitchen porter tried to stab the Fishmongers Hall attacker with a large decorative spear after deciding he had to be hurt , an inquest has heard.
Lukasz Koczocik described how he grabbed the ornament from a wall and went face to face with Usman Khan.
Khan killed Jack Merritt and Saskia Jones and attacked others at a prisoner education event on 29 November 2019.
Another witness recalled how the 28-year-old had remained expressionless as he stabbed her.
The inquest jury at London s Guildhall was told how Mr Koczocik sprang into action after a housekeeper ran downstairs, shouting someone s got stabbed .

An emergency doctor called to the Fishmongers’ Hall attack described arriving at the scene to see “urgency on the face and in the voice” of armed police.
Dr Samy Sadek said he was confronted by “lots of noise… and lots and lots of blood” when he raced to London Bridge after convicted terrorist Usman Khan fatally stabbed Cambridge graduates Jack Merritt, 25, and Saskia Jones, 23, at a prisoner rehabilitation event on November 29 2019, while others were injured.
