DYFI all-India president and Vijayan’s son-in-law Mohammed Riyas is likely to succeed G Sudhakaran in the crucial public works department besides handling the tourism portfolio.
Vijayan on Wednesday briefed the CPM state secretariat about his ministerial picks but neither he nor the ministerial candidates confirmed the details. “Once the list is given to the governor, it’s not proper to reveal the same before the swearing-in ceremony,” Vijayan said on Wednesday. The ministers will be sworn in on Thursday.
