The council Bluffs Police Department say just after 4:30 Monday morning, officers were called to the area of 15th and Avenue N to investigate a woman that was found in-front of this location with severe burns on her body. CBPD says officers, along with medics from the Council Bluffs Fire Department, arrived on scene and the victim, 37 year old Christine Weilage, taken to Nebraska Medicine for treatment. Investigators say officers determined that the original incident occurred about four blocks away, near 15th and Avenue K.
