Gombe Gov Tasks Council Members on Ingenuity in Tackling Challenges

Segun Awofadeji Gombe State Governor, Muhammadu Yahaya has challenged the Governing Council of the College of Education, Billiri to come up with realistic ideas that would assist the government in addressing the challenges confronting the institution, for better service delivery. The governor said this when he received members of the council, led by its Chairman, Dr. Usman Maijama’a Kallamu at the Government House recently. He commended the council and management of the college for their hard work, commitment and dedication to duty which led to the enlistment of the institution into the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund) intervention programme within three years.

By Victor Ogunje The Governor of Ekiti State, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, has commiserated with his Ondo State counterpart, Mr. Rotimi Akeredolu (SAN), and the people of the state on the passing of the state’s Commissioner for Regional Integration and Special Duties, Prof. Bayonile Ademodi. Ademodi, who was a Professor of Chemical Engineering, died last Saturday, aged 68 years. Fayemi, in a condolence message that was signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Yinka Oyebode, described the late Ademodi as a highly cerebral scholar, diligent public servant and a seasoned administrator that undertook every assignment with diligence and a high level of integrity.
