Hajiji: Task force succeeded in addressing water woes in two districts

He said this after visiting the Universiti Apartment 1 booster pump station on Wednesday (Apr 21). On April 12, Hajiji made the directive to expedite the solution for water problems, which grew worse in February, affecting thousands of consumers in residential areas in Sepanggar, as well as Universiti Malaysia Sabah, and Hospital Likas. Among the steps taken by the task force include sending water tankers to the affected areas as a short-term measure, while medium term measures include checking the water distribution system valves in Sepanggar and in the neighbouring Tuaran district.
