Kota Kinabalu: The Sabah Ministry of Works will work with the state Ministry of Rural Development to develop a database that serves as a detailed information channel on the development and construction of roads needed in all districts statewide.
Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Seri Bung Moktar Radin, who is also state Works Minister, said that a committee would be formed to complete the information in the database such as road development being carried out and construction not yet implemented.
“Through this (database), we will submit a budget to the federal government. This database will also make it easier for us to give priority to any roads (to be constructed first) and to apply for allocation.
