A software engineer was held to ransom by the movers and packers she hired to shift her belongings to Hyderabad, with the dubious company picked from JustDial refusing to send her goods until she coughed up more than three times of what was agreed upon. The woman lodged a
complaint at the Vimantal police station, where it emerged that there were about five to six such cases already registered.

The diaspora of Madhya Pradesh in the Tristate area â known as Friends of MP (FMP) NYNJ â celebrated Welcome 2021 âZOOM DHOOMâ in a video conferencing event on Dec. 19.
The 3.5-hour event had the diaspora from New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania attending it. Focused on highlighting the talent of the youth and kids of the community, the event had dance, musical and gymnastic performances by the children.
Chief Minister of MP Shivraj Singh Chouhan sent a video message conveying best wishes of the state to FMP in the USA. He recalled how the organization from its start in 2015 has grown in size and stature, and has contributed in the progress and investments in MP.

MUMBAI: Indian Film & TV Producers Council (IFTPC) today held its twenty-ninth AGM and re-elected Sajid Nadiadwala as president for the year 2020 2021. Nitin Vaidya is the new incumbent.
Nadiadwala addressed IFTPC team for restarting the shooting by engaging the government in continuous dialogue. He also praised the media and entertainment industry for generously helping cine workers and labourers. The new president complimented the IFTPC Team for working relentlessly in providing monetary aid and supplying food items to the industry workers. Nadiawala appreciated the effort for standing as a united body in times of difficulty to help the industry. He mourned the sad demise of many industry stalwarts such as Rishi Kapoor, Irfan Khan and P.Balsubramanium.
