Shahjahanpur: Kribhco’s Oxygen plant gets operational
The plant was virtually inaugurated by Kribhco Chairman Dr Chandra Pal Singh from Jhansi on Tuesday.
The plant will supply medical oxygen to needy hospitals free of cost. This will help mitigate hardship of the people in this tough pandemic time, said Chandra Pal, Kribhco Chairman.
Besides this, Kribhco is also in the process of setting up another Oxygen plant at its Hazira unit. The daily production capacity of the medical grade oxygen plant of Surat will be 100 D-type Oxygen Cylinder.

NCUI President Dileep Sanghani has asked the apex body of co-operatives in the country NCUI to remain closed in the face of surging cases of Covid 19. “I have asked staff-members not to come to office and do important work from home only”, said Sanghani to Indian Cooperative.
The physical lockdown has however not stopped the apex body from carrying its important assignments. It held its Governing Council meeting last week on Zoom, which was presided over by Sanghani. Barring the CE who was down with Covid till last week, almost all the important leaders including Chandra Pal Singh, Bijender Singh and others participated in the meeting. Two-minute silence for the departed souls of Pramod Kumar Singh and VR Patel, was also observed before the GC meeting took off, sources add.
Kribhco is setting up an oxygen generation facility at its Hazira unit
Surat: Krishak Bharati Cooperative Limited (KribhCo), one of the pioneer fertilizer manufacturers in the country, having its manufacturing unit at Hazira in Surat is in the advanced stage of setting up an oxygen generation facility at its Hazira unit and also provide cylinders for free to needy hospitals including government facilities.
“The plant, which will be operational within 15 days, will daily produce 100 D-type cylinders of medical grade oxygen. Cylinders will be supplied free to government hospitals and other needy hospitals too. This process will help to mitigate hardship of the requirement of medical oxygen during the pandemic. A similar plant is being set up by KribhCo’s 100% subsidiary, KribhCo Fertilizers Limited (KFL) at Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh, which will start supplying free oxygen to various hospitals within the next 21 days,” said an official statement.
