Seasoned Snowshoer? New to Central Oregon Sno-Parks? We Got You

Pro tips on the best snowshoeing this season Some outdoor winter staples look decidedly different this year, and others were just canceled. Not so for self-guided snowshoeing. It s pretty easy to socially distance on snowshoe trails, and they re often less crowded than skiing trails. We had people lining up. That was the real lever of like, oh, wow, there’s a lot of people who are wanting to do this. It was crazy how many people came in and how many people took advantage of that.”

Much like local bike shops this past spring and summer, local ski shops are struggling to maintain their nordic ski gear inventory.
