Woman charged with felonious assault, accused of ramming vehicle

FREMONT - A Fremont woman was charged with three counts of second-degree felonious assault after she was accused of ramming another vehicle with her car.
Shelby Caldwell, 22, rammed into the back of a man’s car while driving a Chevy Malibu on North Croghan Street near the intersection at North Park Avenue, according to police.
The alleged incident took place around 7:53 p.m. Monday.
According to a Fremont police report, Caldwell had already hit the man’s car once, and drove into the back left portion of the car a second time.

BALLVILLE TOWNSHIP - Police are looking for the driver of an SUV who fled the scene after driving off the road, striking a house and two vehicles, and causing serious injury to a passenger Sunday night.
According the Ohio Highway Patrol, the passenger, Mellisa Lopez, 45, of Tiffin was partially ejected through the windshield after a westbound black 2018 Chevrolet Traverse went off the right side of County Road 201, just west of Tiffin Road, about 10:20 p.m. Sunday, drove through a field, and struck a residence and two parked vehicles at 162 County Road 201.
