Qwaveion Wilson, 19, was arrested in Texas in connection with the February slaying of a man in Nashville, police said.
Members of the U.S. Marshal s Fugitive Task Force arrested Wilson on Thursday in Grand Prairie, Texas, the Metro Nashville Police Department said. He faces a charge of criminal homicide after the Feb. 15 slaying of Adam Pickle, 23, in the 5100 block of Rice Road in Antioch.
The homicide investigation shows that Pickle, who was from Smyrna, had driven to an apartment complex to sell Wilson a small amount of marijuana, police said. Wilson and another man approached Pickle s pickup truck, pulled out pistols and tried to rob him, according to MNPD. Pickle was fatally shot as he tried to drive away.
