Nonprofits are suffering from decreased donations and cancelled fundraisers due to the pandemic, but the American Lung Association in Iowa is breathing a sigh of gratitude today as EMC Insurance Companies again agreed to be the presenting sponsor of the Association s 18th annual Fight For Air Climb at Principal Park on May 15.
As the presenting sponsor for the third consecutive year, EMC Insurance Companies is proud to invest in the Lung Association’s efforts to end lung disease and COVID-19 through life-saving research. Though the pandemic shift shows positive signs, all nonprofits are continuing to struggle. Lung health and clean air are still critical to the health of our communities. EMC Insurance Companies understands this and we’re grateful for their dedication to our mission and support of the services we provide the community, said Micki Sandquist, executive director of the Lung Association.
