(Photo/ANI) Breaking through checkpoint near Kundli border, another batch of Punjab farmers reaches Delhi ANI | Updated: Dec 13, 2020 13:46 IST New Delhi [India], December 13 (ANI): Thousands of farmers under the banner of Kisan Mazdoor Sangharsh Committee (KMSC), led by its Punjab President Satnam Singh Pannu and General Secretary Sarwan Singh Pandher, reached Delhi on Sunday, breaking through a checkpoint near Kundli border. As per the KMSC, the convoy was so large that it could not be controlled even with eight loudspeaker vehicles of Delhi Police, which also had to remove a second checkpoint one kilometer behind the Kundli border.

“There is a huge gathering already at Delhi’s borders, but we will find a way. If we don’t get space, we will stop wherever we can. Besides, we already have a stage at Kundli. We will replace those already there, who will return home,” said Satnam Singh Pannu, president, KMSC. “The convoy has protesters from Amritsar, Gurdaspur, Taran Taran, Jalandhar, Hoshiarpur, Ferozepur and Moga. Coordinating with each other, they gathered at Doraha in Ludhiana on National Highway 1 at about 5 pm. They will move ahead in smaller groups so that the highway doesn’t get congested,” said Pannu, who is from Piddi village in Gurdaspur.
