AMARAVATI: The State Human Rights Committee chaired by Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has recommended the name of retired High Court Judge Justice M Seetharama Murti as the chairperson and Retired District Judge Dande Subramanyam (Judicial) and Advocate Dr G Srinivasa Rao (Non-Judicial) as the members of the Human Rights Commission.
The State Human Rights Committee, on Wednesday held a meeting at the Secretariat to finalize the names, to recommend as chairperson and members of Andhra Pradesh State Human Rights Commission.
Home Minister Mekathoti Sucharitha proposed the names and the selection committee approved of it. Govt orders reopening of Anganawadis in Karnataka

Bengaluru, Feb 10: After a gap of almost 10 months, the Karnataka Department for Women and Child Welfare has ordered reopening of Anganwadis across the State.
In a circular issued here on Wednesday, the district administration and Deputy Directors of the departments have been asked to take necessary steps to reopen Anganawadis with 16 point SOPs including mandatory consent of parents, only children between three to six years to be allowed and activities restricted to 0930 hours to 1200 hours.
The circular said that only five children should be allowed at once and a schedule should be made accordingly for all children attending anganwadi.
