Recent High School Graduates Awarded Scholarships from RMHC of Greater Chattanooga Friday, July 2, 2021 McDonald’s Owner/Operators – AJ Goodwin, Mark Smith and Kerry Hoyle with Scholarship posters placed in 48 stores within the region Recent high school graduates from the Tennessee Valley Region received $2,000 from the RMHC Scholars Scholarship fund. In total, 21 students were invited to celebrate their academic achievement and community service at the Chattanooga Ronald McDonald House Annual Meeting on June 22 via Zoom.   “RMHC of Greater Chattanooga along with our local McDonald’s owners is fortunate to be able to invest in the region’s rising college freshmen with our scholarship program,” shared President and CEO Jane Kaylor. “Each year we are inspired by the academic achievements, school and community involvement, and often by the challenges our applicants have overcome. 2nd Annual RMHC Run4Kids Set For May 1 Thursday, April 29, 2021 Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Chattanooga’s Run4Kids in Memory of Karen Lawrence will be held on Saturday, May 1 at Camp Jordan Park, 323 Camp Jordan Pkwy. in Chattanooga. Timeline of the day s events are: -1 p.m. – Day of registration opens -1:30 p.m. – Kick off the Run4Kids event with welcome, fun news and costume contest -2 p.m. – Run/walk begins -2:30-3:30 p.m. – Party at Celebration Village Registration for the run is $25 and $15 for the walk. Parking is free.  The event is being held to raise money for families at the Chattanooga Ronald McDonald House and the Ronald McDonald Family Room located on the third floor of Erlanger Hospital.
