Theo Quyết định số 23/2021/QĐ-TTg, lực lượng hướng dẫn viên du lịch được hỗ trợ một lần 3.710.000 đồng/người. Nhằm bảo đảm thực hiện đúng và nghiêm túc quy định này, Tổng cục Du lịch (TCDL) mới đây đã công khai quy trình hướng dẫn các cơ quan quản lý du lịch địa phương thực hiện quy định theo văn bản số 979/TCDL-LH.
