Gatwick Police were delighted to receive an edible replica of a police dog yesterday. The culinary creation, a large Alsatian, was whipped up as a way of saying thank you to the force for their continued law enforcement work in the area. Gatwick Police shared an image of the cake on social media, as well as a message of gratitude to the talented baker responsible for it. Dog That Was Found Starving, Sick, And Scared Becomes Police Sniffer Dog After Being Rescued

A dog that was found starving, sick, and scared managed to become a police sniffer dog after they were rescued by the authorities.
The dog was reportedly found inside a bucket when he was still a puppy in July 2019.
Badger, the cocker spaniel, was dumped by his former owner before he turned 1 month old.
Badger was not the only one.
According to reports, 3 other cocker spaniels were found abandoned inside a bucket in Redhill, Surrey.
The puppies were underweight, malnourished, and were sick.
PC Steph Barrett, the man who trains Badger at the Surrey and Sussex Police Dog Unit, said the dog regained trust in humans after a lot of training.
“After a lot of love and training, he has regained trust in humans. He’s still got that cheeky side, but he’s obsessed with work. He makes me smile all day,” she said.
The road to recovery
Badger and the three other puppies needed special care and four different types of ear and eye drops four times a day for recovery, according to a vet.
As the treatment went on, the dogs were named after Stranger Things characters El, Lucas, Mike, and Dustin. However, Dustin s name was changed to Badger when he was rehomed.
