After Austin Smotherman’s breakthrough victory at the Simmons Bank Open for the Snedeker Foundation, the Korn Ferry Tour proceeds to east Tennessee for this week’s Visit Knoxville Open, contested at venerable Holston Hills CC, which maintains a history of 94 years.
The Visit Knoxville Open is one of four original events that has been contested since the Korn Ferry Tour’s inaugural 1990 season, and the event returns after a one-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This will mark the event’s first playing at Holston Hills CC, a Donald Ross design which measures 7,028 yards and plays to par-70.

After Peter Uihlein’s high-rolling victory at the MGM Resorts Championship at Paiute, the Korn Ferry Tour proceeds to the Lone Star State for this week’s inaugural Veritex Bank Championship, contested at Texas Rangers GC in Arlington, Texas.
The par-71 track measures 6,987 yards and holds the distinction of being the world’s only Major League Baseball-branded golf club. During last year’s pandemic hiatus, 2019 Korn Ferry Tour Player of the Year Scottie Scheffler carded a 59 in a casual round with friends, punctuated by a 20-foot eagle on the closing hole.

After a one-week break, the Korn Ferry Tour proceeds to Las Vegas for this week’s inaugural MGM Resorts Championship at Paiute, the first of 11 consecutive competitive weeks on the Korn Ferry Tour calendar.
This week’s event will be contested at Las Vegas Paiute Golf Resort – Sun Mountain GC, a Pete Dye design that plays to par-72 and measures 7,112 yards. Set against a mountain backdrop and with sweeping slope changes, the Sun Mountain track will look to provide a vintage Dye-abolical test to this week’s field.
